PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The Methodist women's golf team extended their lead to 25 strokes to win their 12th straight national championship and 22nd in program history.
The Monarchs held a 19-stroke lead going into the fourth round and finished at 1257 (321-310-310-316) for the win. Junko Suzuki placed 11th at 318 (83-79-79-77) Junko is a student of Jim McLean Master instructor Trillium Sellers.
Trillium teaches at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida during the winter.
